Hey! It’s me!
The elusive Kelly behind Kelly Card Co. I grew up on Long Island, NY and lived there until college. I went down to Atlanta, GA to attend Georgia Tech, and well, I just never left… I graduated from Tech with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. (I went through 4 years of courses and I still don’t really know what it means…) I currently work as a Senior Clinical Research Associate for a cool start up and in case you can’t tell, I LOVE a good project.
It started way back in third grade (are you hearing George Straight now too?). Okay, okay, all jokes aside. It really began when I was the ripe old age of 5, once I mastered the crayon, it was game on (I just really like that song and don’t know of any songs that start with "it started way back when I was 5"). Any who, I spent many-an-afternoons creating masterpieces just like the one you see here. Now, I spend many-an-afternoons creating a whole new kind of masterpieces. Ones where I stay in the lines a little bit better. This idea to really start selling my cards came deep in the COVID-19 pandemic. It turns out that necessity really is the mother of invention (cue Jimmy Buffet here). I needed to fill my days with a fun new project and my friends and family needed more ways to connect from far away. Thus Kelly Card Co was officially born. I have been signing all of my homemade cards with Kelly Card Co and a heart on the back for as long as I can remember, so it just made sense. I hope these cards made with so much love bring you and the special people in your world some joy or comfort or cheer or whatever it is you and they need in this wild world we are living in.
